Online Resources for Faith Formation
For All Families in Faith Formation
I recommend spending more time in prayer as a family, especially the devotions of The Chaplet of Divine Mercy and the Rosary as well as spending time reading as a family from the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John). For my family, I have found that praying just before bed works very well for us but you may find an alternative time works better for you.
At Home Family Faith Fuilding Resources
Our diocese has put together an excellent web page with resources for building up your family at home during this time. For many helpful suggestions and ideas, please visit this site.
For Teens and Adults: Franciscan At Home
This is a wonderful resource available at no cost to you as our parish is already a member!
To get started, click here to create a free account. Then simply fill in the form to gain access to over 75 wonderful online Catholic workshops. When registering, be sure to choose the Diocese of La Crosse as your diocese and then type St. Therese of the Child Jesus for your parish.
For Kindergarteners and younger children
EWTN has some wonderful videos available to watch for free on their website.
Ascension Presents is another great publisher that is live streaming a daily Mass and Rosary. Additionally, on weekdays they offer a daily event each evening at 8 PM. To view the videos, please click here. Once again, you do not need a Facebook account to view their content.
The Wild Goose is yet another superb video series on the Holy Spirit presented by Fr. Dave Pivonka. There are 14 segments running about 30 minutes each. A study guide is also provided for those interested. The video series may be found here.
Free Online Couples Retreat: Watch these 4 short videos about the virtues that help us keep sanity in our life: Prudence, Justice, Courage, and Temperance. These habits help us mature as persons, grow in holiness, and strengthen marriage. To access this free program, click here.
