Faith Formation has Begun!
If you have not yet registered, please contact me as soon as possible to set up an appointment to discuss your options. I’m happy to meet with you in-person, on the phone, or via a web meeting.
All parents should read over our Re-Opening Letter very carefully as it contains important information in regards to our plan for Faith Formation this year.
Since formation of the whole person is accomplished most effectively in-person, we would like to encourage our parents to consider enrolling your child(ren) to attend class physically at St. Therese.
However, we also realize that some parents may not be comfortable with our in-person option at this time. Therefore, we are also arranging to live stream all of our classes on Wednesday evenings.
Additionally, this year, we are kindly asking for donations to help offset the significant increased cost of classroom and internet upgrades in order to provide a live stream option for Faith Formation.
If your family is able to help out, it would be greatly appreciated. The suggested minimum donation is $15 per student.
Furthermore, we have put together a R.E. Covid Team and have enacted many new policies and procedures in order to provide a safer and cleaner environment for your child(ren). These may be found in our Re-Opening Letter.
As always, please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks and God bless,
Dcn. Michael Lambrecht

Online Resources for Faith Formation
For All Families in Faith Formation
I recommend spending more time in prayer as a family, especially the devotions of The Chaplet of Divine Mercy and the Rosary as well as spending time reading as a family from the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John). For my family, I have found that praying just before bed works very well for us but you may find an alternative time works better for you.
Diocesan Resources during Covid-19
Our diocese has put together an excellent web page with resources for building up your family at home during this time. For many helpful suggestions and ideas, please visit this site.
For Teens and Adults: Franciscan At Home
This is a wonderful resource available at no cost to you as our parish is already a member!
To get started, click here to create a free account. Then simply fill in the form to gain access to over 75 wonderful online Catholic workshops. When registering, be sure to choose the Diocese of La Crosse as your diocese and then type St. Therese of the Child Jesus for your parish.
Live-Streamed Masses from St. Therese
While not the same as attending Masses in person, in an effort to keep us connected in worship during this difficult time, our parish has begun live streaming some Masses on our Facebook page. Please note that you DO NOT need a Facebook account in order to view our videos.
For Kindergarteners and younger children
EWTN has some wonderful videos available to watch for free on their website.
Ascension Presents is another great publisher that is live streaming a daily Mass and Rosary. Additionally, on weekdays they offer a daily event each evening at 8 PM. To view the videos, please click here. Once again, you do not need a Facebook account to view their content.
The Wild Goose is yet another superb video series on the Holy Spirit presented by Fr. Dave Pivonka. There are 14 segments running about 30 minutes each. A study guide is also provided for those interested. The video series may be found here.
Free Online Couples Retreat: Watch these 4 short videos about the virtues that help us keep sanity in our life: Prudence, Justice, Courage, and Temperance. These habits help us mature as persons, grow in holiness, and strengthen marriage. To access this free program, click here.
The National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry has put together an extensive list of resources here on their website. Click on the + signs to see numerous opportunities for youth events, parent & grandparent resources, prayer, and more.
